i am a bit of a geek, so i am loading up on cheap, lightweight electronics that weren't available in the 80s. i love the tiny tach's, and am going to be playing with a fuel flow meter as well.
i replaced my fuel tank in the 2-seater with a UV protected black tank (so i can't see fuel level, bummer) so i am hoping this will not crack like my nalgene did. i think the below zero temps up here are hard on the nalgene tanks.
i put in a capacitive fuel probe though i am not sold on it yet until it works well for a while - i think the mechanical type probe would have been just as good. so up front i'll have:
1 dual EGT gauge (one probe per JPX engine)
1 fuel gauge
1 (maybe 2) fuel flow gauges
2 tiny tachs
ASI, ALT, Variometer (ball 502 model, electric powered super light)
kill switches
starter switches
master switch
radio
possibly intercom
we'll see how it all fits together, and whether i get off the ground will all this crap riveted in
