How much better can it get? Well, how about some company!!
What da ya mean no brakes? I've got great Nike brakes!
The narrow gear come in very handy sometimes. I feel I can land almost anywhere. I know I can crash anywhere, for sure. But I try to land so I can maybe takeoff later.
My only wish is to have the gear further forward. It is a real pain to land when the tank is low on fuel (goes right on the nose - I don't care for that much).
I hope some of the guys on here are seeing these pics and it's providing motivation. I know I needed some help when working on my plane. I "lived" to see pictures of guys flying their Lazairs around. I couldn't wait to try it out. Now look at me.
The Lazair does have limits, but I also feel it has a lot of strengths/capabilites that other types of aircraft just don't have. I've learned how to exploit those strengths, but I am still learning how my Lazair flies. There are many times I shake my head when I think about what all I've done with 18 horsepower.
Thanks Dale Kramer! Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way.

This picture is of the airstrip I ended up camping at. Really cool place. Petroglyphs, caves, and an old trail that Butch Casedy used back in the day.
