Anyone out there ever installed these in a Lazair? I got two new ones from Phil at Lazairwrecks and I don't want to screw them up. I would rather not put any extra holes in tubing if I can help it.
The only picture of them that I have seen is on the highly modified two-place that's for sale down in LA....

I believe the floor pan was a mod by one of my favorite people of all time, Ken Nign from LA.

I believe it was sandwiched between the front axles and the t14/15's.

There were also rivets underneath but I can't remember how many.

I also think the rear was held up by the t14/15 1/4 inch vertical bolts.

Ken also had developed a tricycle gear for the series II that I fell in love with. I could drive the Lazair around on the ground like an ATV and takeoff in 15 knot 90 degree crosswinds by holding the nose wheel down until rotation. As soon as you rotated you were in the air crabbing at 45 degrees. Landing in a crosswind was also very easy. It also looked good!!! (very big in my book)
