Dale's conditon is critical with lots of broken bones and bruised internally. The worst appears to be broken hip, crushed foot and broken arm. They are operating today I believe, on the foot. He cannot move his arm at this time. prior to the crash, he was attempting to set a distance record. The weather was not the best and turbulance brought him down and into tree tops and coming to rest on the ground. He spent the cold night wraped in his chute inside what was left of the fuselage which had been separated from the wings and tail.
One good note is that he is aware and talking about it.

Yeah, I think his sail plane and new business is keeping him pretty busy.
