A pilot told me of Laz pilots possibly using expansion foam between the D_Cell ribs to prevent them falling.
Aside from the weight and the possibility of over foaming...
does anyone have first hand knowledge or experience of this practice by a group of Lazairheads?

sounds like a dicey manoever on any D-cell other than those freshly rebuilt with the noseribs firmly glued to the skin. otherwise, if the ribs were loose to begin with but not fallen over, the expansion foam might just knock them over!

I hear you TY.
Not planning it myself.
But always curious about "leading edge" (pun intended) ideas.
No ideas, no improvements.
I have an idea you (generic) try it first - LAUGH.
