Just read Dale's comments for the first time, wish I had seen it before meeting him in
Big Bay. Does it mean I should scrap the current set up ASAP and move to up the struts? Dave C-IIII, CYEL

"The linkage was too fexible and complex.

Tolerances had to be held too tight to keep play out of system.

This blue swoop airplane is the airplane I flew in the Paris airshow.

My memory is that it is the only plane we built with that linkage but not 100% sure.

I think I sold it to someone from DeHavilland and he took delivery in France, flew it home on DeHavallind transport that was at the show.

As I have time and interest I will be responding to some posts here.

I see a lot of non-factual information and some un- friendly posts. I will stay away from them unless they grossly mislead people.

I am extremely grateful that you guys are keeping the Lazair alive.

Well Well, I was right ! C-IIII is a one-off and indeed the plane on the sales brochure.

In any case I don't see how anyone here can answer this question ???

Hey the linkaqe works without much play, except in ruddervator rods - which can be made heavier.

So I assume possibly biggest issue is duplication...
