It is probably a question that has been asked before but why cant this aircraft be reintroduced in to the Ultralight Aircraft market. Im sure that is could be produced cheaper than the high proced ultralights of today. It has become way too ecpensive to fly and there is a place for an affordable aircraft in the ultralight type of flying.
Who has the machineing for this ultralight after it went out of business?

Series 3 were sellfor up to $5,000 or so in the early 80s
So index that inflation and with cost of materials up accordingly then where would that put a Lazair kit now? I would guess about $10,000 to $15,000.00

10 to 15 thousand beats the pants off of todays "ultralight" prices of 25 thousand and up.
I just thought that with its safety record and all that is would make a very competativeely priced alternative to the cost of todays aircraft.
