Hay no worries mate,
had an opportunity to do this in 2003, howvery maybe it was just not my time. But now this is my only opportunity to get into the air as I now have two boys under 3yrs. So that means I can only afford 1 hobby and thats the Mk111. and yeh, the velocity stacks are there buggers to get on though ! I have made the aileron control units ( 301?) about to be attached to the r3. I have drilled out 10 rivets lost the tops of two knukles pulling the rivots through. The foam ribs are all in position It feels as though some have lost adhesion to the under (flat) side of the Dcell. I have emailed goerge to see if he has any 2.5 in tedlar tape left or foam/doulbe sided tape if not maybe he steer me in the right direction ? I know exactley what you mean with saw horses and padding, a plastic ruler/ square is a good idea too. and don't let the boys near any sharp, blunt, heavy tools either as they like to try to help with some new scratches and dents ! anyway thanks for tips I do not intend skip any processes, have a good weekend.
wayne.
