Kitfox I built in 1989 100% complete. 52 total hours. Folding wings. Water cooled electric start Rotax 532 engine. 3 to 1 reduction with ground adjustable 3 blade wood prop, a 6 gallon tank in each wing plus a 1 gallon header tank for a total of 13 gallons. Has Airspeed, Altimeter, Rate of climb, Tach, Water temp, CHT, Hourmeter, Slip indicator and (radio not connected). Tundra tires with dual Disc brakes and Maul tailwheel. Has doors and drooping wing tips. This plane is not registered but has all log books and building manuals. Has hitch to pull short distances backwards behind vehicle but will need to be transported on a trailer for long distances. The fellow I purchased the Series III EC from in Oregon also had a very nice Avid for sale. It had the scalloped trailing edge wing design (the pretty wing), and I think it had a Rotax 582. It appeared to be in very good shape (much better than the Lazair), although I didn't have time to look at it closely, and I think he was asking $15000. It's painted 2 tone blue.
